One day while chilling with the boys, you were suddenly possessed by a powerful ghost. A ghost who lived and died with the power of music, and now his spirit has taken control, and is forcing you to shoot in time with the beat!
Ghoul Groove is an action/puzzle game where you have to avoid killing any friendly bystanders while your gun is out your of control, and make it through to the end! Will you come away with all boys spared?

I've had a ton of fun playing this game. I'm not usually the best with rhythm games, but I do love to try them out. I've been playing a ton of beat saber recently, and I got a similar feeling in how the game is about timing and skill, being able to act to how you character moves in unison with the beat. The whole time I was playing I couldn't stop bobbing my head with the music, and, sometimes, the worst part of dying was having the silence until I reached the ghost again. Which the only thing I would add to that beginning is a bit of sound, maybe having the music fade in as you get closer and closer to the ghost until it actually starts the game. I haven't beat the game yet, but I do intend on trying my best to. It's definitely a great and unique challenge, and I definitely think it's worth playing

Great game, I really like how you start out like a normal perosn (but with a gun?) and then get possessed. Great graphics and visuals, and I love the knockback for extra challenge.
I really like your presentation. The graphics look good, and the visual effects give the gun a real nice kick!
I wish there were checkpoints because it's kind of a bummer to start from the beginning every time I lose. Also, is there a way to switch to full screen? I tried alt + enter but that didn't seem to work. I wanted to go full screen because my cursor kept going out of the window which kept messing me up.
I couldn't reach the end unfortunately. I'll retry again some time, because I had a lot of fun with your game.

There is indeed a way to go to fullscreen if you press F11, hopefully we'll find a way to make windowed playing a bit more bearable if we update the game! And honestly, I was thinking we could have had two modes, survivor where it's just the way it is right now, and explorator, where you have checkpoints and health that replenish here! Sadly we ran out of time and even doing a simple game over screen was compromised :/
That said we really want to continue this and at least finish this level (the song our artist made was 7 min long and we only used around 2 min of that)! Maybe you'll be able to play that when it comes out!
